Mom: Hey buddy, you're walking on your heels everywhere and running in the house. It's too loud. How can you help me get my rest today?
Austin: Well I could stand in one place for the rest of my life.
(this was followed with an enormous amount of laughter and rolling around by both of us)
After school
Austin: Mom, I can feel it in my arms and body (wiggles and slides all over)
Mom: What's that?
Austin: I need some wrastling! WHen's Todd comin' home? Oh, I need some wrastling! I gotta git it out!

After some serious week long drama about playing mom, babysitter, kid at the playground with the clicky girls, Alyssa prays tonite
Alyssa: Dear Lord thank you for today. Thank you for my family. And thank you that they let me be a puppy today at recess even though Shaina didn't want to be my owner, thank you that they let me play and they voted me something to be. Amen. Oh, and help me to wake up early tomorrow so I can get ready for school early. Amen.
(CLICKS. O, MAN. There's a God on the playground passing out identities. And my daughter ended up with puppy and they didn't even want to own her. Talk about friend trouble Is it inappropriate for me to go to the playground and say, "I'm from the department of Human Services and Animal Control. The babysitter and the dog owner are going to jail for mistreatment and neglect of children and animals. The mom and dad owe me 22000 in fines for representing them as their lawyer and this is a hazardous area so you will all have to evacuate the premises immediately. If you have any questions, Call Office Sprague's direct cell phone. Here's his card."

Awesome! Kids conversations are the best, and then they forget...and so do we if we don't record them somehow!
