June is around the corner. I go back to Maryland for a brand new consult with the nations' leading doctor. Then he will order tests, find me a surgeon, and by October I should have double brachial plexus surgeries. The logistics are tough. Plane tickets, train tickets, where do I stay, Can the kids make it really for the length of surgery trip, do I wait til school starts? So much to consider and pray over.
My hands often look like this picture above. Comes and goes. Taking care of a 15 month old is testing my strength- it breaks my heart when I realize I'm not who I was before, but other than that, I do as much as possible. Leah, of course doesn't have a clue- But my kids have certainly had to adjust. Even thanking me for all I do in the midst- It's truly humbling.
So, thank you for reading... write soon.

Precious Kaitlyn, our door is always open. And no matter how you feel from day to day, you do it... you get up, you work, you're a Mom and a wife DESPITE all you can go through at any given moment. And you do it with more grace and effort then those of us that are healthy and able do some days. We are still praying for you, and we love you bunches.
We pray with all the others for relief and soon answers for you my little girl.
