happy valentines day

So, the kids in alyssa's class came up to me very seriously and compassionately and said... "Alyssa told us the real meaning of Valentines Day. She said you told her. " So, I nodded my head and said "Oh, good." When we got home, I asked her, so what did you tell them? She replied, "well, there was these two guys that were friends and one was in jail so they had to write letters and hide their friendship from the king."
Ha ha ha ha! Well, it's a modern day tail, but it works!!! I had told her it was a couple who had to hide their love! Never occurred to me to be specific!
